What our clients say about us

YCP has been our reliable boat provider for 10 years now. Never once in that time has there been anything wrong with the dealings or the technical condition of the boat. The only thing I miss at YCP is a boat for a small crew (like a 31). But that is an insignificant detail.

Absolutely perfect, stress-free boat rental. Very pleasant and friendly environment and so far the boat in the best condition I have ever sailed. I recommend it to everyone. I just hope that when the word gets out about the quality of this charter company, there will be any boats left to rent at all :D

As a group, we have rented a sailboat in Croatia several times now. From different companies and different owners. When I wanted to get my license, I chose Matěj based on reviews and I am extremely satisfied. The whole course went great.

We have rented a boat from Yachtclub for the fifth time now and always with complete satisfaction. Boats are regularly maintained, in perfect condition, if something breaks, they fix it immediately, they are extremely friendly, provide support and important information throughout the cruise.

We completed a week-long skipper course under the leadership of Matěj Novák and I must say it was a great choice. Matěj really teaches how to behave at sea, how to safely handle all maneuvers, sail and perfectly prepares for the exams. The boats are in great condition and it was clear that the boat rentals here also operate with a welcome human touch. Thanks a lot.

Pleasant family company with very kind and friendly employees, this year I went with them for the first time on a cruise to Venice and great satisfaction. Compared to my very bad experiences with the skipper course at Seawolf, I am very sorry that I did not do the skipper course here. Friendly, patient skippers. Highly recommend!! 👍⛵💙⚓

We sailed with YCP for the third time, and we enjoyed every cruise 100%. Absolutely perfect communication from Matěj and Kristýna, they were willing to advise us anytime over the phone throughout the entire cruise – we really appreciate that every minute on the boat we knew we weren't in it alone. The boats were always prepared in perfect condition, both technically and in terms of cleaning. Thanks to the whole YCP team, especially to captain Karel.

I sent my children to a week-long skipper course with Matěj Novák, which I also completed a few years ago. There was complete satisfaction with the organization and fun. Captain Eda taught our children a lot and was a great partner and teacher. There was general enthusiasm for yachting. As Honza said after returning: "The best spent holidays, I learned something and it was fun too". Thanks a lot and see you next time.

Great experience with Yacht Club Praha! Check-in was very quick and smooth, which allowed us to board and set sail without unnecessary delay. The boat was clean, perfectly prepared and fully functional. We appreciate the professional approach and helpful communication. We will definitely be happy to contact them again and recommend them with a clear conscience to anyone looking for a reliable charter in Croatia. Thanks!

Our holiday with Yacht Club Praha was simply amazing! From the first contact until the return to the marina, we felt that they took care of us with genuine interest. The boat was in top condition and thanks to that we could fully enjoy every day on the water. We can recommend Yacht Club Praha with a clear conscience to anyone who wants a holiday that will not be forgotten.

I have known the owner of YachtClub, Matěj, since his childhood and I also knew his grandfather Jirka, the founder of YachtClub. Matěj has moved the charter company into another dimension. Perfect condition of boats, helpful support in Czech, trouble-free handover,… It is a joy to rent a boat from Matěj. I am looking forward to another cruise on a boat from his fleet already today!

There are many companies like Yacht Club Praha, but fortunately I relied on friends' recommendations and chose this charter company, and last year I took my skipper exams here. I wanted to deepen my knowledge and master sailing more from a practical perspective, and this year I also completed a refreshment cruise. I was lucky to have a great crew and instructors both this year and last year. Everything takes place in a friendly atmosphere, I would almost not be afraid to say even family-like. Matěj and Kristýnka are very helpful, so you can contact them anytime with anything. I will certainly rent a yacht here for my first holiday (as a skipper) without hesitation.

We have been going every year for 20 years. Great approach. Wonderful holiday.

After many experiences renting sailboats through other Czech and Croatian companies, I became a loyal YCP client and no longer rent boats anywhere else in Croatia. New and nearly new boats in perfect condition, friendly staff who willingly and with a smile answer all questions during check-in. They advise on the sailing route and reservations. My skipper course and refreshment cruises were led by top licensed professionals with many years of experience not only in yachting, but also in patient work with people. I definitely recommend them 100%!

Great boats and super communication. Everything can be arranged and Mandalina is a pleasant marina.

This holiday was a real success! Great communication with the company, super approach, full of experiences I won't forget and above all I know that next time I will only sail with YCP again. Thanks

Thank you for a beautiful holiday! Everything was great – perfect approach, beautifully chosen route, well-equipped boat,… ⛵☀️ Looking forward to next time!

Professional approach in everything! 💪 Training and refreshment cruises with experienced instructors, well-maintained boats, helpfulness and always a positive attitude. I recommend! 👍

Bavaria 36, MYSTIC on dates 14–21 June 2025 The best charter company in Croatia I've had the pleasure of dealing with so far. 🥳

Perfect approach of the YCP staff as well as the quality of the boat and the overall process from rental to return of the boat. Definitely recommend!!!

For me, renting a boat at YCP is the best choice… :)

We have been sailing with Yacht club Praha since 2017. What they promise is reality. Boats in perfect condition, personal approach, above-standard service, nothing is a problem. We will continue to be clients :-)

I can only recommend, Matěj prepared very thoroughly for the exams both theoretically and practically, thanks to the great approach I enjoyed the course very much :)

Thanks for a great stress-free holiday with a clear head! Everything was perfect. ⛵

If you want to lose your security deposit, choose some cheap Croatian charter company. If you want to get a wreck instead of a boat, try something in Greece. But if you care about good boats, perfect check-in, fair checkout and a nice friendly approach from the entire staff, then come here. Actually, I don't go anywhere else in HR anymore… :-)

We spent five unforgettable days sailing with Josi and exploring the islands off the coast of Šibenik! Yacht Club Prague provided excellent boat rental services and the boat was perfectly maintained; we highly recommend!

We enjoyed perfect week with YCP organized offshore sailing from Sibenik (HR) to Venice (IT) and back on their boat Panthata. Another good experience with YCP.

The boat is in excellent condition. The owner of the company is very helpful and ready to help or advise at any time. The pick-up and return of the boat is the smoothest I have experienced in five years. I can only recommend it.

Great experience. All delivered as agreed. Captain Filip was a perfect match for us and we can recommend both company and captain to anybody looking for tremendous sea time in Adriatic.

Our group – me, my sons aged 20 and 17 and my father-in-law – took a one-week sailing license course with Yacht Club Prague (YCP). We had 6,5 amazing days learning how to steer a sailing boat, safely sail away from and return to marina, and much more.

Great experience, very nice people, I will definitely come back!

Super recommend. Great people.

Perfect service – Super Holidays.

A good group of people, maximum helpful approach… Highly recommend 👍👍

I recommend Yachtclub Praha – great experience.

I recommend Yachtclub Praha.

Created and led by a love of yachting… with an open mind and an open heart!
